The new contract for community pharmacists seemed to promise so many opportunities, didn't it?  Have you been able to realise them all?

Perhaps you see patients returning from their GP or local hospital having been given treatment which you know you could have provided just as well only more locally, more cost effectively and perhaps more quickly?

The NHS system is so complicated and getting the information and commitment needed to develop services can be quite daunting.  But we can help.

By joining Clinical Chambers as a local member you will be notified of all opportunities coming up in your area.  These opportunities won't just be contracts being tendered out which you would have to bid for and win.

There is now a new approach: the "any willing provider" approach.  This means that as long as you meet the necessary quality standards you can agree a cost per case contract with a PCT and simply be paid for the work you do as you do it.

PCTs will still need to demonstrate that they are behaving in a transparent and fair manner - advertising their intention to commission a type of service from "any willing provider" through this website (which they can do for free) will help them to do so.

This means by joining us you can be automatically notified when these opportunities come up in your area of interest.

When you see these opportunities you might need some help in actually putting together your proposal to provide the service or you may need help from others to actually deliver the service.  You can find this help through this website.

Whatever it is you lack...

You can search for it here using the Search for Team Members function which finds people who have advertised themselves on the site or the Simple Search function which finds people once they have submitted their Complete Profile.

It's just as simple to make sure others who are looking can find you. 

Make sure you fill in your Complete Profile - it takes less than a minute - so you can be found by people using the Simple Search tool.  Then use the Advertise tool to advertise your own skills/services so that you can be quickly tracked down when someone needs you.

Don't forget, once you advertise for a set of skills or services Clinical Chambers keeps looking for you. 

The minute someone joins with the skills/services for which you have advertised you will be contacted.  Once they have submitted their Complete Profile they are matched with your advert and you are both informed.  After that it's up to you!
